Apple Cider Day

The CBC Holidays Series explores stories that relate to specific holidays so that readers of all ages can celebrate in the best way… with a good book!

November 18 is Apple Cider Day, where we celebrate this seasonal drink and all things apples. From juice to apple sauce, apples produce a great deal of benefits to our everyday lives, keeping us energized and healthy for doctor visits. Apple cider itself is a Fall favorite as these freshly harvested fruits are mashed, pressed, seasoned, and then fermented to make a warm beverage for the upcoming colder days and nights. If you haven’t had the chance to try it, this is the day! So, let’s grab a nice cup of apple cider and enjoy one of these apple-themed books today. 🍎
