Middle-grade and young adult readers looking to find themselves on their library’s shelves, or seeking to understand experiences beyond their own, will find much to appreciate in these titles. Topics include dealing with grief, youthful romance, mental health, and other coming-of-age challenges.

Cultivating Curiosity and Creativity with Comics

Comics and graphic novels offer librarians and educators limitless opportunities to spark imagination and inspiration as well as develop a love of stories and reading. Creators will share their passion for stories about animal detectives, cartoon villains, flying robots, romance, theater, and other creative challenges, and crafting comics!
