World Book Night 2014 With Walter Dean Myers and More!
The New York Public Library will host an event on April 22 to precede World Book Night, in which authors discuss their love of reading and libraries. One of the authors will be Walter Dean Myers, the previous National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature.
“During the worldwide event, which takes place on Shakespeare’s birthday, those participating in World Book Night give away books to people who don’t regularly read or don’t have access to printed books.”
