Treasures of Childhood: Books from the Hunt Collection of Children’s Literature

In celebration of its 75th birthday, the Central Library will host an exhibit of children’s books from the Hunt Collection. Named after Clara Hunt (1871 – 1958), the first Superintendent of Work with Children for the Brooklyn Public Library system, the collection brings together rare works by such innovators as Ludwig Bemelmans and E. Boyd Smith.

Curated by historian Leonard Marcus. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
