The Fay B. Kaigler Children’s Book Festival
Every year, over 400 teachers and librarians from across the nation travel to the University of Southern Mississippi for the Fay B. Kaigler Children’s Book Festival, where they can hear major speakers and participate in sessions and workshops with children’s book creators and experts. CEUs (Continuing Education Units) are available for Mississippi educators.
This year’s festival will honor Christopher Paul Curtis, Newbery Award winner of Bud, Not Buddy and The Mighty Miss Malone.
