The Albany Children’s Book Festival
The fifth annual Albany Children’s Book Festival will take place at the Albany Academies on Saturday, April 27.
Activities will include readings from some of the attending authors, as well as the awarding of the Schimmer Lifetime Achievement Award to Caldecott winner Jerry Pinkney at a breakfast ($12/person) and the presentation of the Denise McCoy Legacy Award to humorist Tommy Greenwald at a luncheon ($18/person).
