ABC-CBC Speed Dating Lunch with Children’s Authors & Illustrators

Each year, the Children’s Book Council partners with the ABC Children’s Group at ABA on popular events at Book Expo America that give booksellers & librarians the opportunity to connect with children’s book creators over new and forthcoming titles.
At the Speed Dating lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to meet authors & illustrators in small groups for three-minute roundtable talks. We select both new and established authors and illustrators who have high energy, charisma, and the ability to make a great impression in a short amount of time.
This year’s author/illustrator attendees include: Ben Hatke, Gitty Daneshvari, Adam Mansbach, Adam Rubin, Linda Urban, Daniel Salmieri, Bob Shea, Steven Savage, Salina Yoon, and Alan Zweibel.
