National Plant A Flower Day

The CBC Holidays Series explores stories that relate to specific holidays so that kid, and adult, readers can celebrate in the best way… with a good book!

Saturday, March 12th, is National Plant A Flower Day. On this day, we celebrate the importance of planting flowers. From red roses to blue violets, flowers provide us not only with happiness through their colors and scents, but they are also significant to our bee friends, who use the nectar to make honey.
