International Mountain Day

The new CBC Holidays Series will explore stories that relate to specific holidays so that kid, and adult, readers can celebrate in the best way we know how… with a good book!

Today, Saturday, December 11th, we celebrate International Mountain Day, where we recognize the importance of these geographical landmarks around the world. Either by climbing a mountain nearby or cleaning up the trails around it, we should remember that mountains provide us with activities and benefits to our communities. So let’s grab a book and appreciate the mountains near us.
