Laugh & Learn: Humor in Children’s Graphic Novels
What do you call a graphic novel with no humor? An adult graphic novel! But seriously: humor is key to many treasured children’s comics. In this panel, discover new funny books that will have kids gleefully giggling and loving to read. Panelists include: Natalie Riess (Space Battle Lunchtime), Jeffrey Brown (Lucy & Andy Neanderthal), Kristen Gudsnuk (Making Friends) and Sean Rubin (Bolivar). Moderated by Ben Perry (Youth Services Librarian, Brooklyn Public Library).

NYPL Main Branch – Celeste Auditorium

LGBTQ+ in Children’s Graphic Novels
