Words & Pictures Series
Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures and the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh are teaming up to present Words & Pictures, a lecture series featuring a diverse range of children’s and young adult authors. The series will run on Sundays in 2016-2017.

- Sept. 18: Ann M. Martin (The Baby-Sitters Club series)
- Oct. 16: Kwame Alexander (The Crossover)
- Dec 4: Robert Sabuda (Encyclopedia Prehistorica trilogy)
- Feb. 12: Chris Grabenstein (The Island of Dr. Libris)
- March 19: National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature Gene Luen Yang (American Born Chinese)
