National Ambassadors Kate DiCamillo, John Scieszka, and Katherine Paterson at Politics & Prose
In keeping with tradition, Politics & Prose Bookstore will host the first event with our new National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, Kate DiCamillo. The National Ambassador is selected for a 2-year term to “raise national awareness of the importance of young people’s literature as it relates to lifelong literacy, education and the development and betterment of the lives of young people.” Former ambassadors John Scieszka and Katherine Paterson will join Kate in an evening of stories and celebration. All ages welcome.
