Multicultural Children’s Book Day 2015
The second annual Multicultural Children’s Book Day is scheduled for Tuesday, January 27th, 2015. The event’s mission is “to not only raise awareness for the kid’s books that celebrate diversity, but to get more of these books into classrooms and libraries.”
Several high-profile bloggers have signed on as Co-Hosts: Sprout’s Bookshelf, All Done Monkey, Kid World Citizen, InCultural Parent, Growing Book by Book, Mama Smiles and Africa to America. MCCBD’s planning committee is also working to designate a national literacy organization as the official charity for all proceeds and book donations. Stay tuned for more updates on the event!
