Details: To celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the “Bread and Roses Strike”, the town of Lawrence, Massachusetts is participating in a citywide reading of former National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature Katherine Paterson’s book, ‘Bread and Roses, Too’. Books will be acquired through a library, school, and community collaboration, and Paterson is expected to visit several Lawrence schools.
