The CBC Holidays Series explores stories that relate to specific holidays so that kid, and adult, readers can celebrate in the best way… with a good book!

Monday, March 1st, was National Pig Day. This week we celebrate these endearing, curly-tailed animals. From stuffed animals to piggie banks, pigs aren’t just found on farms, they are part of our daily lives. You may even spot them occasionally living inside with us as wonderful pets. Let’s pick up a book in appreciation of our pig friends!
