National Love a Tree Day
The CBC Holidays Series explores stories that relate to specific holidays so that kid, and adult, readers can celebrate in the best way… with a good book!
On National Love a Tree Day (May 16), we show our appreciation for trees and what they provide for us. From oxygen for us to breathe, fruit to eat, and shade to lie under on a sunny day, trees are constantly giving. So why not show a little love in return by reading and learning more about trees this week!
