Collective Digital Studio Announces James Patterson’s ‘House of Robots’ Web Series On The Fred YouTube Channel

Los Angeles, CA  Collective Digital Studio (CDS) has teamed up with best selling author James Patterson again to produce an animated series that will debut in conjunction with the launch of Patterson’s new book HOUSE OF ROBOTS.  The five-part web series will launch on November 28th on FRED, a leading tween and family entertainment YouTube channel.

Executive produced by Collective Digital Studio with James Patterson, the HOUSE OF ROBOTS companion web series based on Patterson’s book follows the adventures of fifth grader Sammy and his robot E (for “Error”).

It was never easy for Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez to fit in, so he is less than thrilled when his genius mom insists he brings her newest invention to school: a walking, talking robot he calls E—for “Error”.  The web series brings to life several scenes from the book as Sammy discovers the amazing secret E holds that could change him and his family forever…if all goes well on the trial run!

CDS is also developing an online series based on Maximum Ride, Patterson’s massively popular Young Adult fantasy franchise.

HOUSE OF ROBOTS launches new episodes on Fridays, starting November 28, on FRED and joins the fun, family-friendly line-up of programming that recently debuted on the YouTube channel, including:

  • In Your Face featuring Jake Paul: Kids face off against their parents to see who knows more about the family! The winner gets to pie their opponent (their parent or child) in the face!

  • Minecraft Adventures: FRED takes machinima to a hilarious new level with this original anthology series animated in the world of Minecraft.

  • Riddle of the Sphinx: Two contestants compete by translating “hieroglyphic” rebus puzzles for a chance to solve the Riddle of The Sphinx and recover one of the lost treasures of Imhotep.

  • Stormy & Baker: Follow the comedic exploits of puppets Stormy monster and Baker squirrel as they provide tips and tricks for surviving middle school.
