Melissa Marr & Kelley Armstrong Team Up to Edit a Short Story Collection Called Shards & Ashes

Authors Melissa Marr and Kelley Armstrong have teamed up to edit a short story collection entitled Shards & Ashes. The book features dystopian pieces by the two editors and seven other writers: Veronica Roth, Rachel Caine, Kami Garcia, Nancy Holder, Beth Revis, Carrie Ryan and Margaret Stohl.
Roth's story is entitled "Hearken" and it follows "a girl who gets a brain implant to hear the music of the dying in the midst of an apocalypse." Caine wrote a story called "Dogsbody" and it features a vengeance theme. Revis penned a tale about rebellion called "Love Is a Choice." HarperCollins will release this book on February 19, 2013.
