Carrie Ryan & JP Davis Land a Book Deal with Little, Brown Books for Young Readers

Carrie Ryan and JP Davis have signed a book deal with Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Hachette Book Group USA. The husband and wife writing duo will be penning a four-book series entitled The Pirate Stream.
This fiction story follows two children who embark on an adventure as two stoways on a ship. The publisher plans to release the first installment, The Map to Everywhere, in fall 2014. Editor Kate Sullivan oversaw the acquisitions process and secured North American rights. She negotiated with Merrilee Heifetz of Writers House.
