Penguin Young Readers Group May Launch a Copy of Beth Revis' Shades of Earth Into Space

Penguin Young Readers Group plans to celebrate the final Across the Universe title with a bang. On the release day for Shades of Earth, the publisher may launch a copy of the science-fiction book literally into space. The Razorbill imprint has scheduled the book to come out on January 15, 2013.
"The launch will only happen if we get as many preorders for Shades of Earth that we got for Across the Universe and A Millions Suns combined. Which. *gulp* But. I think we can make it happen. I really, really, really do. I have total and absolute faith that we can make this happen."
