Craig Thompson Lands Books Deal with Scholastic

Graphic novelist Craig Thompson has signed a book deal with Scholastic. Thompson's first graphic novel for children will be entitled Space Dumplings.
The published graphic novel will feature full-color illustrations. The story follows a girl who leads her friends on a rescue mission to save her father. Editor David Saylor oversaw the acquisitions process and secured North American rights. He negotiated with Literary Agent PJ Mark of Janklow & Nesbit.
