Christie Matheson Lands Books Deal with Greenwillow Books

Kidlit author Christie Matheson has signed a six-figure book deal with Greenwillow Books, an imprint at HarperCollins Children's Books. Matheson has penned a picture book titled Tree Magic.
The story profiles a tree and its journey through the four seasons. Editor Martha Mihalick oversaw the acquisitions process and secured world rights. She negotiated with Literary Agent Stacey Glick of Dystel & Goderich. This project will be released in fall 2013.
