Random House to Launch YA/New Adult Digital Imprint, Flirt

Publisher Random House will be launching three new digital imprints. One of them, Flirt, will be dedicated to publishing content with the young-adult/new adult genre. The other two imprints, Alibi and Hydra, will publish mystery-thriller and science-fiction titles. HarperCollins recently announced the start of their own children's digital imprint, HarperTeen Impulse.
"The digital-only imprints will be directed by Allison Dodson, v-p, digital publishing director, Scott Shannon, senior v-p, publisher, digital content, and Matt Schwartz, v-p, director of digital strategy. Gina Centrello, president and publisher of the Random House Publishing Group, said the new imprints will each have dedicated support team for editorial, marketing and publicity."
