The YA for NJ Auction to Benefit the Victims of Hurricane Sandy

Young-adult author Kieran Scott has assembled a group of more than 170 kidlit authors to participate in the YA for NJ eBay auction. All proceeds will be donated to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Scott chose this particular organization because of its speddy efforts in helping the hardest hit areas affected by Hurricane Sandy.
"Auction items include signed hardcovers of Beautiful Creatures by Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia, and a Skype visit with If I Stay author Gayle Forman. Holly Black donated autographed copies of the complete collection of The Spiderwick Chronicles, and the list of authors and donations continues to grow. The auction will take place from November 30 to December 7; donated books, school visits, and online meetings can be viewed here."
