Matthew Ward Lands Book Deal at Penguin Young Reader's Group

Debut novelist Matthew Ward has landed a book deal with Penguin Young Readers Group's Razorbill imprint. His first middle-grade book is titled The Fantastic Family Whipple, and stars a boy named Arthur Whipple. Ward will follow this project with a sequel.
Razorbill President/Publisher Ben Schrank teamed up with Assistant Editor Gillian Levinson to oversee the acquisitions process. Laura Rennert and Lara Perkins, two literary agents at the Andrea Brown Literary Agency, represented Ward in this deal. The deal includes World English rights.
