John Green Explains the National Debt and Budget Deficit

Election day is less than one week away. Shining a spotlight on one particularly important issue, The Fault in Our Stars author John Green posted a video to explain the national debt and budget deficits.

Both Green brothers have published recent posts on the upcoming presidential election. Last month, John's brother Hank (who he shares the "Vlog Brothers" YouTube channel with) recorded a video that ran through a list of "bad reasons for not voting". Hank's video has since been featured on President Barack Obama's tumblr site.
