Marisa Wicks Lands Book Deal

Maris Wicks has landed a book deal with Macmillan's First Second imprint. Wicks' graphic novel for young readers will be titled The Human Body Theatre. This nonfiction work covers the subject of human anatomy.
Editor Calista Brill oversaw the acquisitions process. Bernadette Baker-Baughman, a literary agent at Victoria Sanders & Associates, represented Wicks in the deal. The book will be released in 2014.
