Major League Baseball Player R.A. Dickey Lands Book Deal

R.A. Dickey, a pitcher with the New York Mets, has landed a three-book deal with Dial Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Penguin Books for Young Readers.
Dickey's first title will be a children's adaptation of his memoir, Wherever I Wind Up: My Quest for Truth, Authenticity and the Perfect Knuckleball. That book will be released in fall 2013. His remaining two titles are picture books. Knuckleball Ned will hit bookstores in spring 2014. No details have been revealed about the third picture book title at this time.
