A high school student posted a request on Yahoo! Answers for an overview of the YA novel, The Boy Who Couldn't Sleep and Never Had To. Unexpectedly, D.C. Pierson himself responded! He encouraged the anonymous teen to give his book a try.
Pierson has uploaded a screenshot of the Yahoo! Answers conversation on his Tumblr. In the past, high school students have been known to rant about their mandatory reading assignments via social media. The #worstbookever hashtag has enjoyed great popularity on the Twittersphere.
