The first book in Gagnon's trilogy, Don’t Turn Around, will be published by HarperCollins on August 28.
The novel centers around Noa, a 16-year-old hacker who goes off-the-grid to protect herself after the death of her parents. One day, she awakens on a table in a deserted warehouse with an IV protruding from her arm. Her quest to uncover what happened to her leads her to Peter Gregory, the rich young head of a hacking alliance whose life was recently threatened by a dubious corporation. What the new allies don't realize is that Noa holds the key to a dangerous secret.
