Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act Excludes Children's Books

Right on the heels of the one year stay of enforcement, the Consumer Product Safety Commission clarified its enforcement policy Friday in a press release.
CPSC will not impose penalties 'for making, importing, distributing, or selling an ordinary children's book printed after 1985'.
Thanks to all your efforts, children's titles have been excluded from the stringent testing requirements posed by the CPSIA. We are thrilled to be able to announce this relief for children's publisher
