Megan McCafferty Lands Book Deal with Poppy

Author Megan McCafferty has signed a two-book deal with Poppy, an imprint at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. This new middle grade series will be set in the Jessica Darling universe. In the past, McCafferty had published 5 Jessica Darling adult novels with Crown’s Three Rivers Press.
"The new series, called It List, will mark the author’s first foray into middle-grade fiction, and the first book, Jessica Darling’s It List #1: The (Notso) Guaranteed Guide to Popularity, Prettiness & Perfection, will follow a 12-year-old version of the title character as she begins middle school. The series name refers to a collection of guides Jessica’s older sister, Bethany, left for her."
