John Rocco Kidlit Illustrations On View at Orlando Museum of Art

60 kidlit illustration pieces from John Rocco's portfolio will be on display in a show called "From Alice to Zeus: The Art of John Rocco." This exhibit is the eighth installment of the Orlando Museum of Art's "Art of the Picture Book Series."
Visitors will be able to see the art featured in some of the most beloved kidlit titles including the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan, The Flint Lock by Katherine Paterson & John Paterson and Alice by Whoopi Goldberg. "Rocco is enthusiastic about providing young visitors with insight into his creative process and plans to include in the exhibition examples of rough sketches and preparatory drawings to show how an illustration evolves from early concept to finished work."
