Lauren Oliver Hosts Collaborative Short Story Project

Author Lauren Oliver has been hosting a collaborative short story project. The Delirium trilogy writer issued an internet invitation enticing readers to contribute 200-word sections for a middle grade story starring 12-year-old Molly Lampart.
"Here's how it will work... today I'm going to post the opening paragraph of a middle grade story. You guys will have a week to submit your ideas for the next 200 words of the story to laurenoliverbooks@gmail.com. I'll pick the one I think works the best, post it...and then we'll keep repeating the process!"
Oliver intends to cap the finalized story at approximately 5000 words. So far, three rounds have been conducted so the story currently stands at 800 words. The deadline for the fourth round recently passed on July 26th. Will you be submitting in an entry to add to this story?
