Gene Luen Yang Will Publish a "Boxer Rebellion" Graphic Novel

American Born Chinese creator Gene Luen Yang is currently working on a "boxer rebellion" graphic novel. The Printz Award-winner shared this news along with a comic panel teaser in a blog post.
Yang's art piece has been animated to show the illustration process he undertook to complete this one panel. This project has been a work-in-progress for the past five years. He hopes to completely finish both the writing and drawing by the end of this summer.
