Rick Riordan's 'The Red Pyramid' as Graphic Novel

The comic adaptation of the first book in The Kane Chronicles will be released on October 2nd.
Fans will be treated to two new Rick Riordan titles on that date; the fourth installment of The Heroes of Olympus series, The Mark of Athena, will also be available on the same day. Orpheus Collar served as the writer who adapted Riordan's original book.
Back in 2011, The Red Pyramid won the Children's Choice Book Award in the "5th to 6th Grade Book of the Year" category. In the past, Disney Hyperion published a graphic novel adaptation of Riordan's bestseller, Percy Jackson & The Lightening Thief. The next title in the graphic novel series, The Sea of Monsters, will come out in 2013.
