The Glee star reveals that he waited a decade to write this story.
In an interview with MTV, the Golden Globe-winning actor spoke about the difficult writing process he undertook for his middle grade novel, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell. He conceived of the idea when he was a child; it was at a time where he became fascinated with fairy tales. In addition to penning the novel, Colfer also narrated the audiobook version.
