'Harold and the Purple Crayon' Musical to Hit the Chicago Stage

A new musical adaptation of the classic picture book title will be hitting the Chicago stage from October 11th to November 4th. Sean Graney has signed on as director for Harold and the Purple Crayon.
"Based on the beloved children's books by Crockett Johnson and featuring a script by Don Darryl Rivera, lyrics by Robert Burgess, and music by Auston James, this new musical version of Harold and the Purple Crayon uses animation, inventive puppetry, video projections and live, original music to bring Harold's purple-hued world to life."
