Author Else Holmelund Minarik Has Passed On

Else Holmelund Minarik has died. The pen behind the 'Little Bear' series passed on at 91-years-old.
Minarik is best known for her collaborations with the late Maurice Sendak. She wrote the Little Bear chapter book series which Sendak illustrated. The books went on to be adapted into a popular animated TV show. Minarik and Sendak also worked together on the 1958 hit title, No Fighting, No Biting!.
