2012 Amelia Elizabeth Walden Book Award Finalists Unveiled

The Assembly on Literature for Adolescents (ALAN) of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) organizes this award to bestow $5000 upon a young adult author whose work encompasses a positive approach to life, widespread teen appeal, and literary merit. This award was established in 2008 to honor celebrated author Amelia Elizabeth Walden.

The 2012 Amelia Elizabeth Walden Award finalists are as follows:
