'The Hero's Guide To Saving Your Kingdom' Transitions From Book To Box Office

Fox Animation Acquires the Movie Rights to first-time author Christopher Healy's children's book, The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom.

Set to hit bookshelves on May 1, 2012, The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom is the story of the heroes who have famously rescued the princesses of classic fairy tales such as Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Sleeping Beauty.  The animated film adaptation will be produced by Chernin Entertainment, the same organization that produced Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
