Julia Stiles, Kathy Bates, & Bill Cobbs Join ‘The Great Gilly Hopkins’ Movie Cast
The movie is based on the 1979 National Book Award-winning novel by former National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature Katherine Paterson. Stephen Herek, the filmmaker behind The Mighty Ducks and 101 Dalmatians, will serve as the director for this project. Filming has already begun in New York City. At the moment, no release date has been announced.
