We’re gearing up for School Library Journal’s annual leadership summit, October 26-27 in Philly. Previously invite only (partially due to space accommodations), I’m pleased to say, we’re handling this a bit differently. In short, if you consider yourself a leader and want to come, let us know.

Here’s the official language:

The participants at the SLJ Summit are those taking leadership in creating strong and effective school libraries. This includes but is not necessarily limited to: school librarians and other K-12 educators, public librarians in close collaboration, technology leads, teachers, and administrators. SLJ’s definition of a leader is shaped by accomplishment and outlook as much as title or affiliation. If you know someone else who should be included, let SLJ’s editor-in-chief Rebecca Miller know who they are and why they should be invited.
