Joseloff Gallery Hosts "McCarty & Payne" Art Show

The University of Hartford’s Joseloff Gallery will be hosting an art show called, "McCarty & Payne." This exhibit showcases the work of children's books illustrator Peter McCarty and artist C.F. Payne. The pieces will be on view from January 22, 2013 through February 24, 2013.
"The exhibition comprises a diverse sampling of illustration from both artists. Children’s book illustrations will hang alongside magazine and advertising pieces, as will in-process work showing the behind-the-scenes steps each artists takes while creating these wonderful works of art. In addition to the exhibition, there will be a public lecture, including both of the artists in the show, held on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the Wilde Auditorium, directly followed by a public reception in the Joseloff gallery from 5-7 p.m."
