Early Career Committee

The Early Career Committee of the Children's Book Council creates dynamic programming to benefit the entire publishing staff community, focusing on those in their first five years in the industry. Our events range from the industry-wide annual Trivia Challenge to the intimate gatherings of the Publishing Luminaries series.

Trivia Challenge
Every November, randomly-chosen teams of industry staffers go head to head in a battle of the children's book minutiae, all for the glory of the delightfully tacky Golden Bunny trophies.

Publishing Luminaries series
By bringing together industry veterans with new employees, this series provides an opportunity for discussion and collaboration between those who have much to teach and those who have much to learn.
