Additional Resources on the Common Core

Publishers Weekly’s Common Core Toolkit
Resources, lessons, and a general guide to approaching the Common Core.

Common Core Official Website
The official website is the main source for all information on the Common Core.
Search for a book, and you will automatically be directed to varying resources-—including lesson plans, author interviews, and vocabulary lists. The website has its own section detailing how it can help you implement the Common Core initiative.

With plenty of examples and suggestions, EduCore is a website devoted
entirely to helping teachers (as well as parents) with the Common Core.
This site offers advice on implementing the lessons, as well as  providing
guidance to those who are unfamiliar with certain methods of teaching.

Teaching Channel
Teaching Channel is a video showcase — on the Internet and TV— of innovative and effective teaching practices in America’s schools. Designed as a go-to place for Common Core resources, the website hosts teacher videos, strategies, and lesson plans.

Pearson Education Common Core Website
Pearson offers complete support for implementing the new Common Core State Standards. Teacher training, assessments, school improvement planning, and resources are featured on the site.

Engage NY is developed and maintained by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to support the implementation of key aspects of the New York State Board of Regents Reform Agenda. This is the official website for current materials and resources related to the Regents Reform Agenda. The agenda includes the application of the New York State P-12 Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS), Teacher and Leader Effectiveness (TLE), and Data-Driven Instruction (DDI).
