WNY Children’s Book Expo

The second annual WNY Children’s Book Expo (WNYCBE) is Buffalo’s largest literary event, specifically geared for children ages 3 – 12. 36 local, national, and international authors and illustrators will be present and interacting with children through story-readings, book-signings, and illustrator presentations.

The WNYCBE is free and open to all ages. Activities specifically target readers ages 2 – 12.

The WNYCBE was conceived after James Patterson, NY Times Best-selling and internationally renowned author awarded a small grant to Monkey See, Monkey Do…Children’s Bookstore as seed money for this event. Several Buffalo and WNY companies, literacy groups, and individuals have joined as partners to make the WNY Children’s Book Expo happen. Presenting sponsor is BlueCross BlueShield of WNY.
