The Horn Book at Simmons Colloquium
Join an esteemed group of authors, illustrators, librarians, children’s book experts and fans on October 2-3, for the Horn Book at Simmons Colloquium: Transformations. This two-day event celebrates the best in children’s and young adult literature.
The focus of this year’s colloquium is on the life cycle of a book. Attendees will gain insight on how manuscripts become books; how familiar stories take on new forms; how youth literature responds to a changing world; and how books transform readers.
Speakers include Boston Globe–Horn Book Award recipients: Candace Fleming, Marla Frazee, Jon Agee, Gregory Maguire, Neal Shusterman, and Susan Cooper.
