Louis Darling: Drawing the Words of Beverly Cleary
In celebration of the centenary of Darling’s birth as well as Cleary’s 100th birthday, the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art presents Louis Darling: Drawing the Words of Beverly Cleary on view May 17 through November 27, 2016. Darling brought to life such beloved characters as Ramona and Beezus with his delightful illustrations.
The exhibit will feature preliminary sketches, artwork, correspondence, and photographs curated by artist Tony DiTerlizzi, who will also design a reading area for visitors.
