Jumping Out of Boxes: Celebrating Gender Creativity in Children’s Books
A BROOKLYN BOOK FESTIVAL BOOKEND EVENT
Join Cory Silverberg, sex educator and author of What Makes a Baby, Melanie Hope Greenberg author-illustrator of Mermaids on Parade, and artist Annanda DeSilva for a celebration of gender diversity in children’s books, arts and crafts.
There will be stories for kids, a presentation and discussion for adults, and coloring and crafts for every one.
There will be light refreshments and glitter.
BookCourt is a wheelchair accessible space (with accessible washroom).
